A curled-mustached man and a purple haired, sunglassed woman repeat across a four-column grid, resembling cartoon celebrities. The orange and purple treatment of the backdrop makes their faces look screen-printed. The bottom row fades into the background, as if the portraits are disappearing mid-poster.
Over the course of decades, ambition, love, friendship, and success reshape the trajectories of six childhood friends who dream of leading creative and inspiring lives.
