Four sisters in a spotlight, arms around each other facing away microphone away from you, except the leftmost sister who turns to look back
Playwright Jez Butterworth (The Ferryman, Jerusalem) weaves the compelling tale of the Webb sisters’ return to their childhood home. Their mother trained them for a singing career like The Andrews Sisters, and now, past and present collide as memories resurface with haunting clarity. The Hills of California explores sibling bonds, and how songs of youth echo through life. Loretta Greco directs the West Coast debut of this masterwork, following its West End and Broadway productions.
