In keeping with the titular theme, Artistic Director Amy Seiwert and Artistic Fellow Ben Needham-Wood will “interrupt” each other by exchanging active feedback during the creation process of their new ballets. The original concept for 2020’s SKETCH 10: Wrecked was inspired by the Wrecking process developed by choreographer Susan Rethorst. That concept, which would have included six choreographers, had to be scrapped and reconsidered due to COVID.

SKETCH 11: Interrupted pays homage to the worldwide disruption of the pandemic and reconceives Imagery’s original plan on a smaller scale.
