Solos Lost and Found // Deborah Slater Dance Theater

Jennifer Kesler balances upside down on the edge of a slanted table in a shoulder stand. Her arms are stretched long on top of the table. Her head drops to look under. And her torso raises to the sky - her legs in a seated right angle.

Short solos tell stories of love and loss. In Grace Floats, a Maine woman waits for the return of her fisherman husband. In Beneath the Thin Skin, a monologue is surrounded by the remnants of innocent loved ones. And finally, a table and chair pay homage to timeless classics that put DSDT on the map. This show is part of the San Francisco International Arts Festival.
